Quick Post

Okay. Just a super quick post. I just wanted to post a picture of Fred and me in my newly-bought flamingo shirt. Don't we look fabulous? #glamingo

I'm Breaking Up.

Once I returned to college, I really thought that I was the same old first-semester student I was last fall. You know...
-Hard-working
-Full of energy
-No social life.
-Not much homework
Well, it's been a week-and-a-half since school started and I have noticed that I AM NOT THE SAME. I HAVE CHANGED. My view on life has changed. I am now going in a different direction. My previously declared major was Elementary Education, and now I think I may be changing it to communications.

This is me now (Emperor Kuzko) talking to my old me (Yzma). I am going in a different direction and my old self is being fired. How am I different? Okay, let's see...
1. Semi-hard-working. Whenever I have homework, I no longer feel a burning desire to do it and get it done. I'm more of something like this:
Of course, eventually I'll pick up all my papers because I know that these things do need to get done (Don't worry, mom).

2. Energy: I have never had so much energy in my life. I'm the freaking Energizer Bunny. I can trick my roommates into thinking that I have run out of energy, and then... BAM.
I ATTACKTHEM.
Last semester... I had some energy. But no one to share it with. But now my roommates and I share our energy like we share our food. There are no limitations. Especially when it comes to Mexican food. But this only happens at night. During the day, after I get home? I'm like this:
Why is it that beds are so much more comfortable when you know that you should no longer be near them?

3. You guys... I HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKK!!
I used to think I had a social life... But I had no idea what I was talking about. I never knew the true meaning of a social life until now. I have friends! I have friends who like to go out and do things! We can suggest some spontaneous activity and all of my roommates are all for it. Also, I don't think I've said "hi" to as many people because I know their names because I've decided to not be anti-social and actually talk to people!

4. Homework: I don't know if my professors were trying to go easy on me since it was my first semester of college ever, or if I just chose really awesome teachers who didn't give out much homework. But now, I'm a little bit swamped with work. Not overbearing, but enough to make me want to curl up on the living room floor and cry. But can we talk about my hybrid class? I have that class once a week for an hour, and then our teacher gives us an assignment to do every day. Just like the ones we did the week before. And I'm reading this stuff, and I'm thinking:
I HAVE THAT CLASS ONCE A WEEK. I DO MORE HOMEWORK FOR THIS CLASS THAN ANY OF MY OTHER CLASSES.
But I guess it's fine... I mean, we spend half of our time in class watching videos on bugs walking around in circles. And then there are those days where we don't have videos and our professor demonstrates being a bug. Something similar to this:

But this is all for now. Stay tuned for when I give college advice and truths.
